At Total Body Bar, we believe whole-heartedly in the 80/20 principle when it comes to nutrition. This quite simply means that 80% of the time we eat clean and 20% of the time we indulge. Sounds good, right? That’s because it is!!
We like to think of our nutrition plan as an ongoing lifestyle, NOT a diet. We’ve asked ourselves, “What kind of plan can we manage for the long haul and still get results?” The realistic answer for most human beings is a BALANCED nutrition plan. There’s that word again… seeing a trend yet?
We take treating our bodies right seriously. It’s a full package deal when it comes to your health and fitness. We must have well-rounded exercise routines, plentiful rest, ample water intake and of course, solid nutrition.
It’s no secret that nutrition is the hardest part.
We’ve all battled it and we’ve come to find that almost everyone we have encountered on their fitness journey NEEDS a quick, nutritious, satisfying meal without any thought at least once per day. This for us is Shakeology. You will find that all of your trainers at Total Body Bar are avid supporters and users of this wonderful concoction of 70 superfoods. In fact, each of them has named it a “staple” in their daily plan and will attest to feeling tired, hungry and unsatisfied without it. It’s our daily dose of dense nutrition and we look forward to it all day!
